Safarimobile
The Expedition Vehicle
The expedition will travel in a Mercedes Benz
Safarimobile
which
has been custom-built for group
safaris or a Mercedes
Benz Sprinter
bus. The Safarimobile provides comfortable
seating, with
ample
leg space, huge windows for game viewing
and
individual lockers.
For a "bird's eye-view", a
section
of
the vehicle opens, allowing
guests to
sit on the roof in areas
where it is permitted. An
intercom
system at each seat
facilitates easy
communication with the guide.
The Sprinter bus is comfortable
and equipped
with an air conditioning
unit. This vehicle is
ideal for our clients who prefer a more
luxurious
way of travel.

The group members
arrive and are met at
Johannesburg International
Airport by Eagles
Cry Adventures and Ecolife staff members and

Day 2-3:
Imbambala Wilderness Trails

After breakfast we depart for Imbambala which has a unique and beautiful tented
camp on a
secluded peninsula on the Loskop Dam in the Loskop Reserve. Our camp
is reached by boat and
is absolutely private. Here we are introduced to the
African bush and we will follow rhino and other
game on foot, in open Land
Rovers, and by boat along lake shores. We enjoy interpretive
discussions
around the evening camp fires with our knowledgeable guides.

breakfast we board our boats to return to our bus. We leave the
beautiful Bushveld behind us and drive through the Highveld. Later, we start our
descent
to the Lowveld as we travel towards Kruger Park. We arrive at Lower Sabie
and
relax while enjoying sundowners on the deck overlooking the beautiful Sabie
River.
On Day 5 we continue our search for exotic wildlife and enjoy the foods

Africa with sunset and night-time game drives.

(Mountains of the Dragon) we saw on the western horizon. We exit Kruger Park
at Orpen gate at about noon and then visit the Mnisi local community where the
University of Pretoria is helping them setup a big-five nature reserve next to
Kruger.
We arrive at the pristine Swadini Camp at the foot of the majestic
Swadini Mountain
in time to enjoy a South African braai before we retire to our
chalets for a good
night’s rest. On Day 9, after our early breakfast, we join an
internationally renowned
game capture expert to experience the capture and
relocation of game.

The
Panorama Route
After
an early check-out on Day 10, we explore the Panorama Route, driving along
