History
Since
1996, J. Robert Russell
has been organizing expeditions.
Robert is a
photographer and videographer whose assignments
have taken him to remote corners of the world.
During the past decade, he has flown in hot air
balloons over the North Pole,
the Great Wall of China, in
the deserts of India,
been diving with sharks off the
coast of South America and trekked the
jungles of Amazonas with the Yanomami Indians.
These experiences instilled in him the desire to
share adventures with others. In every
remote location, he made contacts and found
avenues that could open the way for other
travelers seeking adventure. After
several years as President of another company,
Robert formed Eagles Cry Adventures with his
wife, Ari, as his partner. Ari has over 20
years of experience in conference planning and
leadership training. During the past
several years, she has also been involved in
planning and outfitting expeditions and has
traveled to many of the locations offered by
Eagles Cry.
